Susan De Susie

Since I lost so many things due to the war, I hope that the Treaty of Versailles will be able to restore peace and order most importantly.Everyone should be happy and agree on the terms of the treaty. If there was a country that was unhappy, it would only cause more hatred. So i felt that Woodrow's fourteen points was more ideal and fair to achieve peace. If there was no fairness, people will become unhappy and there would not be peace. I feel that the Treaty of Versailles was too harsh to Germany and was not ideal to achieve peace as Germany was angry and a major conflict may happen anytime. I hope that people will come to surpport me as i do not want another war and for people to suffer like i have. I had lost my husband... My sons.... I reiceved letters from my husband telling me about the conditions of the war. its was terrible. till the day he left me......

Alden and Daniel - write another post to improve on your thoughts for the Treaty. I can't really understand what you are trying to say here. You support having harsh terms or not? Why?

I lost my family like you when I was at war, I was also very upset. I felt that if we were to go and fight another war again just because the germans killed my family...the war will never end. Like you, i want to build a better place and work to attaining peace...to create a better place for the next generation...as if we were to continue to hate the germans, more conflicts will arise and another war may start, causing more people to lose their family...hence i support you in trying to work towards peace, so lets work together to attain peace!! Also to help others to forgive and forget about the hatred they have...and stop the remaining conflicts that still exists around us...and convince everyone to work towards peace and stop any possible signs of conflicts between the nations...!!
